Till September 22: All the senior artists of Chennai, who have been part of the Madras Art Movement in the 1960s and 70s, have put together this art show. M F Husain is also part of this show. Artist Thota Tharani’s work, which transforms something abstract as music into a visual language is also a part of this tradition (at the Athreyaa Art Gallery).

Riding on the hugely successful exhibition ‘The Madras Canvas’ in August 2007, Forum Art Gallery presents ‘The Madras Canvas II’, an exhibition of paintings, sculpture, installation, photography and cartoon art by Chennai-based artists (at Forum Art Gallery).
