Till October 20: A show by contemporary artists like Jai Zha­rotia, A. Kannan and Devidas Dhar­ma­dhikari (at Prakrit Arts).

Till October 30: An exhibition of paintings by Srikanth Kurva from Hyderabad. Srikanth Kurva is a storyteller too, besides being an artist. He believes that is among the generative impulses of art (at Vinnyasa).

Till October 31: Good Planet, a photography exhibition. Yann Arthus-Bertrand has always been fond of nature. He also ­discovered the beauty of the world, seen from above when he ­became a hot air balloon pilot, experimenting with aerial photography (at Alliance Francaise).

Till November 9: The Tiger, an exhibition of paintings and drawings by M. Natesh (at the Madras Terrance House, Royapettah, Tel: 4503 8391).

October 17-26: Changing Image: The North East of India, an Art Exhibition (at Lalit Kala Akademi).

October 19-25: Legends of Car­natic Music, rare photographs from the archives of Sruti (at Apparao Gallery).

October 25: A Spooky Hallowe’en party (at Vanilla Child­ren’s Place, 5.00 p.m.).

October 20-25: A special photo exhibition on the legendary divas of Indian dance in collaboration with Sruti magazine (At Forum Art Gallery).
