April 18: Book Launch: Perfume – the Story of a Murder by Patrick Süskind Perfume, written by Patrick Süskind, is one of the most successful books ever written by a German. It has been translated into 46 languages and has sold over 15 million copies worldwide. The book will be presented by Mr. Stefan Balzter, DAAD lecturer in Chennai (at Goethe-Institute, 6.00 p.m.).

April 16-17: Residential Camp. Activities include pottery and table mat weaving, treasure hunt, traditional games, crab hunt, learning of folk dance of Tamil Nadu, Snake Hunt, T shirt printing using stencil, Theatre Art. Fees: Rs. 1750 inclusive of food, accommodation, material and conveyance (at Dakshina­Chitra).

April 25: One-day Activity Camp. Children in the age group of 7 12 years are eligible. Activities include Guided tour of Dak­shinaChitra, pottery & Table mat weaving, T-Shirt Printing, Theatre art, Traditional games, Treasure Hunt. Fees Rs. 500 ­inclusive of lunch and snacks, material and conveyance (at DakshinaChitra).
