Till April 7: Faraway Tree displays the works of K.M. Adimoolam, Akkitham Narayanan, R.B. Bhaskaran, Bibekananda Santra, Gurdeep Singh, Hamid Bin Amar, John Tun Sein and Pradeep Puthor (at The Far Away Tree).

Till April 10: Narrative Contemporary Indian Art by Arpita Singh, Gulammhd Sheikh, Vivan Sundaram, Nilima Sheikh, Nalini Malani, Sudhir Patwardhan, Ranbir Kaleka, Shilpa Gupta, Parvathi Nayar, Nataraj Sharma and many others (at Lalit Kala Akademi).

Till April 12: A Working Title, an exhibiton of paintings by artists Birendra Pani, Seema Kohli, Murali Cheeroth, Bandeep Singh, Harsha Biswajit, Ravi Kashi, Mukesh Sharma, Clare Arni, Kanchan Chander and Praveen Goud (at Forum Art Gallery).

April 10-May 12: A solo show of Sophie Jo's paintings. Sophie Jo's brilliantly coloured canvases are inspired by everyday life that she captures with a sense of humour. Sophie Jouannet Bech is a French artist who from the age of 14 has been involved in book illustration (at Apparao Galleries).

April 22: Boy with a Suitcase, a production of Ranga Shankara, Bangalore, and Schnawwl Theater, Mannheim, Germany. The play has an Indo-German cast and crew creating a seamless blend of two cultures. Boy with a Suitcase unfolds through the story-telling and narrative the young protagonist Naz as he makes his way to the proverbial land of "milk and honey", to find his sister and a "better life" (at Sir Mutha Venkatasubbarao Concert Hall).
