SOS Children's Villages of India – Chatnath Homes – organised a trek in the Pallavaram hills near the airport during Madras Week. Thirty children from eleven institutions including Class IX to Polytechnic Colleges were taken to the Pallavaram foothills and from there to the top of the hill exploring flora and fauna and ancient structures. SOS also had a quiz for the children on Madras Day. (See picture)
