January 3-10: Coast to Coast, an exhibition of paintings by the Goa College of Arts & the University of Connecticut, USA.

This exchange exhibition has been organised by Hanuman Kambli from the Goa College of Art, and Kathryn Myers from the University of Connecticut.

The inaugural on January 3rd will be followed by a powerpoint presentation by Kathryn Myers. Her topic is about American artists who have been influenced by the art and culture and the history of American interest in India, the American Transcendentalists, Vivekananda and the World Parliament of Religions, Madame Blavatsky and Theosophy. Paintings by students of both these artists will also be a part of the show (at Dakshina­Chitra Art Gallery).
