Till March 21: The Spirit of Women, a photography exhibition. This small exhibition depicts different aspects of women by Chithrai Siva and Joel Suganth (at Alliance Francaise).

Till March 22: Regional Painters’ Camp. Participating artists: S. Michael Irudaya Raj, Sam Adai­kalasamy, B. Nirmala, Sweta Chandra, Puru­shotham Adve, V.G. Venugopal, Joseph M. Varghese, Chandranandan, Subhash Babhulkar, Vaishali Oak, K. Sridar, and Julio D’ Souza, (at Lalit Kala Akademi).

Till March 22: Ugadi Utsav, the Andhra Pradesh New Year will be celebrated in the traditional form. The festival will showcase the culture of Andhra Pradesh with traditional dappu dance, a folk performance, handicrafts and special cuisine of the region (at DakshinaChitra, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

Till March 30: Nomadic Cock Speaking Blah Blah Blah, an exhibition of paintings by Blodsow (at The Madras Terrace House).

Till March 30: A photo exhibition on Indian classical dance by Dr. Susil Pani. The exhibition brings out the salient features of such dance forms as Odissi, Manipuri, Mohini Attam, Kathakali, Kathak and Bharata Natyam (at DakshinaChitra).

Till April 10: The Magic of The Faraway Tree, a group show of leading contemporary artists featuring work by K.M. Adimoolam, Akkitham Narayanan, Akmal Hussain, Badri Narayan, Jatin Das, John Tun Sein, Rm. Palani­appan, Pradeep Puthoor, Sakti Burman, and S.H. Raza (at The Faraway Tree Gallery).

March 26: Slave Farm with Lhome, Antoine, K-Fu & DJ Atis, a Hip Hop Music concert (at Zara). Workshop on March 24th and 25th at Ethiraj College & MOP Vaishnav College respectively (By invitation).

April 3: Ozma, a jazz concert with Adrien Dennefeld (Guitar), David Florsch (Saxophone), Stephane Scharle (Drums), Matthias Mahler (Trombone), Edouard Sero Guillaume (Bass), five friends who like playing together, a real fusion of talent, which leaves nobody indifferent (at Taj Coromandel, 7.30 p.m. by invitation).

April 23: Sangam, a concert featuring Benjamin Prischi (Keyboard), Cyrille de Haes
(Bass), Thibault Hien (Saxophone), Sebastien Wacheux (Drums), David Remy (Guitar) (at Alliance Francaise 7.30 p.m.).
