November 6-13: The Lamp of the East presents the works of seven award-winning contemporary artists from Korea. The exhibition invokes the memory of Rabindranath Tagore, much respected in Korea, and marks his 150th birth anniversary (at Lalit Kala Akademi).

Till November 12: An exhibition of a limited edition of serigraphs by M.F. Husain and S.H. Raza done at Archer Graphic Studio, Ahmedabad (at Gallery Sumukha).

November 12: Sustainable Tourism and Cultural Heritage conference organised by AARDE Foundation in collaboration with the School of Architecture & Planning, Anna University, Embassy of The Netherlands, New Delhi. December 5: Burka Bondage, a dance performance by Helena Waldmann, who established channels of communication between young Afghan and Japanese generations and found a virtually iconic image for the parallel between them. The burka is an Afghan gown that covers people up. Bondage is a Japanese technique that shackles them. Helena Waldmann sets out on a search for the body without a face with two women dancers who love extremes, a video animation artiste and a genius on the drums (at Sir Mutha Venkatasubba Rao Hall, 7.00 p.m.).
