(ARCHIVE) VOL. XXII NO. 21, February 16-28, 2013
Dates for your Diary

Till February 28: Forum Art Gallery in association with Indian Institue of Cartoonists presents R.K. Laxman's Doodles, an exhibition of unpublished doodles of the legendary cartoonist:

The legendary cartoonist, R.K. Laxman, had a pet (nick) name. He was called "Doodu" at home as he used to doodle constantly. RKL drew lots of totally meaningless doodles over the years.
These meaningfully magnificent doodles were created over 16 years, and included 97 fantastic sketches. Hundreds of people have seen them. Some have called them meaningless, nonsense. Others felt that they have deep philosophical and artistic significance. Only 'Doodu' knows the real answer. (at Forum Art Gallery, Mon-Sat 10.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.)
