October 30: Zinx plays contemprorary world fusion music, basically integrating the East and the West. The band plays various genres of music – from jazz to blues to funk to classical to even folk. Zinx comprises Anirudh, Kishor and Vivek. (At Alliance Francaise.)
October 30: Pradeep Chakravarthy repeats his favourite walk till date! A tour of the Dhenupureeswara temple in Madambakkam (off Velachery Main Road, between Pallikaranai and Tambaram). The temple is not only rich in inscriptions that are related to the functioning of a Chola bureaucracy but has some stunning and very rare Vijayanagar sculptures, many that cannot be seen elsewhere!
