February 4-6: Field trip to Talakona organised by Madras Naturalists’ Society: The AP Forest Department in collaboration with the local community has two dormitories that can take upto 20. Bird watch, trek, etc. (For details email Vijay Kumar at

1st Saturday of every month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m: Public Awareness Programme on Snakes.

The programme will be as follows: 11.00-11.20 a.m. – Demonstration of live snakes; 11.20-11.45 a.m. – Visit to the snake enclosures and other reptile enclosures; 11.45 a.m.-12.30 p.m. – Power point presentation on snakes; 12.30-1.00 p.m. – Question and answer session
