Creator par excellence
The narrative of Shobha Manickam about her visit to the farm house of C.Ramakrishna is like taking us for a journey to the nature-blessed abode of Ramakrishna, (Remembering C. Ramakrishna, MM, May 1st). The way she walked us through the landscapes, the fruit trees, the orchards, the fragrance emanating from the flower gardens, the well-kept guest houses, the chirping of the birds in the morning, the templeinside the farmhouse and the other temples around, and to top it all, the excellent hospitality extended by Ramakrishna, has no doubt raised the desire in readers – particularly those of us who are nature lovers – to pay a visit themselves. The enormity of the farm is mind-boggling and speaks to the Himalayan efforts put forth by the creator of the farm to not only successfully complete this massive project but maintain it.
